It is disgusting to see people on the Left (SWP/Respect, etc) submerge their views and prostitute themselves just to keep an alliance with the Muslim Association of Britain, with their linkage to the Jamaat-e-Islami of Pakistan, etc
Muslim Association of Britain is to the right of the Catholic Church, and what socialist would suggest an alliance with such a party/organisation?
The MAB, in all probability, want to create a viable Islamic party in Britain but need organisational strengths, therefore are using the Left (SWP/Respect, etc) in the short term, which is logical for them. And that an appropriate time they would ditch them.
Galloway is concerned with power, kudos and money. He knows he will not be able to hold on to Bow and Bethnal Green in the next election but will probably strike a deal with MAB and get funded from the Saudis, etc for his retirement. Leaving the next Respect candidate to be an MAB person or similar.
SWP/Respect, etc seem to think no one sees through their cheap opportunism and they might benefit from some MAB funding (unclear at the moment), and after the break with Galloway/MAB occurs they will be tarnished for all to see.
The timescale will in probability be 2-3 years, but before the next election, overall.
So, Galloway will eventually get paid off, MAB will get a firm organisational base/skills and SWP/Respect will go down in history as idiots; and the working class/women/gays/ethnic minorities suffers as a result.
“Congratulations. Tory Tony had better give us all those better public services before 2009 or we’ll have the proper Tories back.”
– and that’s the part where you will all fail, because it has always been a failure and Blair win precisely because he managed to restrain a bit all the leftist nonsense better than Tories did.
Now it’s all coming to an end. The left will drink the beer they concocted - growth of “employment” acquired only thanks to increasing useless parasite sector called ‘public sector’, will spend half more on in order to get virtually no improvements, all those wage increases that parasite sector is drooling about will be harder to resist, economy will get a drag that Brown put on it, and so on… back to pre-Thatcherite days.
I’m sorry people, but Toryscum?? 3 months into a Labour government and our improved Ayr hospital, which the Tories built in 1991, is having its A&E services cut and transferred 20 miles up the road to Crosshouse in Kilmarnock. A 40 mile trip for those in Stranraer to the nearest A&E! All brought in by the Labour-dominated health boards and vigourously opposed by Mr John Scott, MSP (Ayr, Conservative). Labour scum doesn’t come close to describing this shower of bastards of a government and Scottish Executive.
YOU BUNCH OF W**KERS! DONT TAKE IT OUT ON THE TORIES BECAUSE YOU COULDNT HACK IT IN THE EIGHTIES! And as for controlled immigration too f**kin right send the buggers back! Why should I have to pay for the scum bags! As for miners I hate that bunch as illiterate working class nobodies. They didn’t have a leg to stand on! But what about labour bringing agriculture and every rural industry in the United Kingdom to its knees? Does nobody care about that? Taking into account rural industry’s and agriculture have done more financially for this country than a bunch of useless miners ever did. I LOOK DOWN AND LAUGH AT ALL WORKING CLASS AND LABOUR VOTERS. BECAUSE I KNOW IM BETTER THAN YOU! I have a better car, a better house and a much slimmer, better-looking wife and my kids go to a better school than yours. And doesn’t that just make you mad. You hate Tories because you are jealous.
Hmm, Brett, let me see. I’m surrounded by illiterate working-class nobodies here in South Wales. By gum, they must have been nobodies. Mostly highly skilled colliers and steelworkers. Creating the raw materials from which British industry was built. 150,000 of them in Wales alone lost their jobs because of Tory policy between 1976 and 1985. But most of them got back on their non-working legs, and ooo, look, some of them have got degrees! Some have maintained successful businesses! Some have risen to the heights of local government! Some have them have doctorates in transport policy!
And as for farmers- well, they do make a large contribution to the agrarian economy, as they always have- but more than quite a few are quite willing to take their subsidies from the EEC, and not follow the regulations that come with the money. FMD- dozens of farmers walking away with millions in compensation. Tourism industry- North Cornwall alone lost millions. The workers who cleaned and serviced the hotels didn’t get compensation. Hundreds of hotels and B&B’s closed down, never to reopen.
I’m not at all jealous of Tories. I don’t really see the point of them anymore. You can’t run the country like a shop- pile it high, sell it cheap.
Oh, and most of my fellows in Deep Navigation were homespun philosophers, poets, musicians, humanists, and carried more moral fibre and ‘hwyl’ than most Bishops I know.
Is the lack of input to this board a reflection on the political state of the nation?
Anyway, I doubt if Brett is a genuine poster - but he sounds like a right tory t*t.
I’m worried as I feel all the Labour in fighting will let David ‘we’ll see what we can do about it’ Cameron get in by a small majority. This cannot happen as the tories now are getting so desperate they are jumping on any bandwagon they can - with no acutal policies.
We are surrounded by politicians who don’t give a tupenny sh*t about the working class anymore, but I still prefer a Labour-Liberal coalition over those blue, tax cutting, public service hating, immigrant hating noshers!
The Tory party has been described as being the stupid party, and the postings from Tory supporters on this site underline this.
Grammatically incorrect, insulting and generally odious, they are representative of the attitudes of hardcore Tories who would vote for a monkey just as long as it was wearing a blue rosette. Come to think of it, they supported Hague in 2001 and you don’t get much more stupid than that.
I’d like to see ‘Brett’ go to South Wales, or another of the former coalmining areas and express his feelings about the miners in the manner he has done here. He’d be lucky to get out in one piece. The miners were decent hardworking lads who were brought to their knees in a vicious campaign of dirty tricks run by Thatcher and the Tories.
The postings of these idiots remind us all why the Tories must never again be entrusted with governing our country. They are selfish, mean, greedy, stupid and utterly incompetent.
Oh yes- most of our countries recent woes were caused by Tory policy, and New labour’s policy of following Tory policy.
62% of people in a recent poll think that the privatised essential utilities (water, gas, electricity) should be nationalised again. Network Rail is nationalised in all but name- Labour just won’t take the final step of CALLING it nationalised.
“The NHS has to make a profit”- where the hell does the word ‘profit’ come into health care?
Local authority departments have to make a ‘profit’- so they end up recharging themselves for things that have already been paid for. What the hell do councils need an ‘internal market’ for?
Maggie sold off all the social housing- and NONE of the money went to local authorities- so now first-time buyers can’t even get a council house.
Well, at least Gordon Brown is trying to act like a real Labour Prime Minister rather than a President. If an election is soon called, let’s hope Labour continues with a further mandate. The astute amongst us know who to vote for.

If the miners are such amicable, nice, cuddly little fellows then why would they assault someone who disagrees with them?
Congratulations. Tory Tony had better give us all those better public services before 2009 or we’ll have the proper Tories back.
Just thought ya’ll might like to know (if you didnt already) Howard has said he’s going to stand down:

-Another little victory.
Thanks for this. I’ll miss you.
yeeeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaaaaa………………my work here is done.
and the tory bastard is quitin!
Where are they going after the Election win?
Leaving aside George Galloway’s obvious motives and views, for a moment, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/George_Galloway and

“geezer”: And Galloway’s traits relate to the preceding stuff how?

Ah yes, of course, all of those parasitic nurses, police officers and teachers, drooling over their next pay rises. Do try and make sense, b.
As for Howard. Good riddance.
Well Mr. b you are just the sort of parasite that we should be sending away somewhere out of sight. Not immigrants, my fat headed friend.
get some proper political opinions you narrow minded bastard, the tories will get back to power and you’ll eat your words

Well done people, hope you’re proud!
No doubt you’ll censor my comments as well as I’ve just noticed it’s awaiting “moderation”. Hmmmmmmmmm……

Gee, you sound like a real winner.
(ahahaha).
Some of the comments printed here sound of the vicious and shallow level that only Tories could stoop to.
Oh, and Brett - reading your post has reminded me why no one wants to vote for the Tories.
Hmm, Brett, let me see. I’m surrounded by illiterate working-class nobodies here in South Wales. By gum, they must have been nobodies. Mostly highly skilled colliers and steelworkers. Oh, forgot to add- MY wife is round, cuddly, …and Socialist.
Let’s make sure ‘Brett’s’ comments are published widely. They’re typical arrogant Tory wanker.
Were my comments too much for you - is that why you removed them? Rotten Left Wing Scum!!!
Is the lack of input to this board a reflection on the political state of the nation?

Some things in life are certain - as sure as maggots turn into flies, Tories turn out to be complete and utter revolting bastards.
