Celebra-tories: Phil Collins

Phil Collins is threatening to come back to Blighty if the Conservatives win the election.
The tax exile - worth a staggering £130m - said he’d leave Britain for Switzerland if Labour won the 1997 General Election.
Against all odds, he stuck to his guns.
We’re certain he needs all that dosh for something - possibly gifts for the homeless kids he sang about in Another Day in Paradise.
Noel Gallagher was first to speak out:
“Vote Labour. If you don’t and the Tories get in, Phil is threatening to come back from Switzerland and live here - and none of us want that.”

Sounds like “nonce sense” to me.

I’m voting Labour in Birmingham, one vote for each Iraqi killed by Blair and Bush.

If I vote Labour, will they fix it for my kids to go to private school, like Dianne Abbot’s? Private school was good enough for Tony Blair, Ruth Kelly and Charles Clarke, and I only want the best for my children.

He’s given up playing live - with any luck giving up recording his lousy music, next then giving up breathing after that. Please keep Collins out of this country vote Labour for the good of music.

Keep the idiot out of here! Vote Labour and don’t support his rubbish music.

Don’t believe all these pre-election promises.
Didn’t Paul Daniels offer to leave the country if Labour got elected last time? Another broken promise.
Forget about asylum seekers - governments should be obliged, within one month of being elected, to throw out all clebrities who said they would go if that party got in!

I love the thought of Paul Daniel’s being righteous! Ha ha ha!
When his wife was on shooting stars with long pointy shoes for picking vegitables, ha ha, he’s so funny!!!

So this guy made his first millions in the UK then left to avoid paying tax. What a nob-head. I’m with Noel.

Phil Collins is bad, but think about the consequences if Jim Davison came back. I think that he is “celebrity” we should be voting labour for.

The nonce-sence debacle made Collins look like a fecking idiot and he richly deserved it. However, if you look at what he did with Genesis in the mid 70s I have to say he has more talent in his nostril-hairs than Noel Gallagher has in his entire body……
